She may have been because I have not found anything but a marriage record, no ages given no parents or where she was born. but marriage record in Scotland .  Thank you very much, where was that record found? I wish they had the mothers maiden name on that.  Maybe if they had other children besides Charlotte listed.

Thank you.  I did that and this is the answer that I got back
"I have searched the Poor Law indexes and unfortunately have not found any records for Charlotte Caldwell or Cathcart, neither for Walter Cathcart.  The records you have found in the online index (series 12 - 6192 and 5733) refer to other applicants". So I will go back and see what the deal is and   I guess it is going to remain a mystery.

Thank you, for this information.  I will check this out. Not sure about the Christina and Henry Marshall thing. I do think that it was probably James who did die in 1843.  I know it probably does not list anything to who his parents were, so hate to waste my last 10 credits on something that will hold not other information that what is already listed.  Thanks again

Thank you very much.  I was subscribed to Ancestry, but there was a mix up on my lineage so I have to redo some of my family tree, and can't afford ancestry right now.  Again thank you.

I am looking for Mary Gibson (maiden Taylor) Father and Mothers death dates.  James Taylor and Christian ( maiden Galbraith)  married on 21 Aug 1802 so probably born sometime in 1782 Mary was born and recorded in the Parish of BoNess.  Other than that, that is all that I have.  Any help would be appreciated.  Scotlands people have no death records for Mary's Parents.  Thank you.

Fife / Re: Whitehead Marshall Leslie Fife 1800 all

Oh how I messed up part of my family tree.  I am not related to the Marshall's in Fife or the Whiteheads.  After years of searching this family It was brought to my attention that I had the wrong line.  My Margaret Marshall did marry a James Gibson, but I found the wrong Margaret and James.  I became very attached to the wrong family so it has been hard to let go, but My Margaret Marshall's father was David Marshall not Robert Marshall.  And my James Gibson was James taylor Gibson. Mothers maiden name of Taylor.  BIG SIGH

Never mind on this one things are not right.
I am getting closer to the Marshal, Marshall mystery thanks to a very special person.  I am in need of any Marshal's located in the Fife area Leslie,   Robert Marshal married Margarett Whitehead on 1825  Margaret died I believe in 1837  Robert died  April 8th 1851 he was 44 years born about 1807.  Died in lodging house in St. Clartown.   They had one living child that I know of and she was also named Margaret born 1836.  I found her.  No mention of Any relatives for Robert Marshal, or Margaret Whitehead.   Thank you.

I will have to look at my information, Something might be wrongly connected.  I will check later and get back to you.

Lovely to hear back from you.  I was working on this tree last night and getting really confused.  It appeared that I had duplicates in the tree.  Turns out that in addition to Robert Cathcart and Marion Storie, my husband also has Mary Ann Cathcart and William Pender in his tree.  Mary Ann Cathcart is the daughter of Walter Cathcart and Charlotte Caldwell.  That means that two of my husbands 3x Great Grandparents were brother and sister.
I'll chew this over and get back to you for further info - likewise if you need any further info let me know.
