Thank you Glen for the information it will help a great deal.
Have found the mother & father James Warren married Sarah Nobbs 24 Oct 1852 Winchester, Hampshire, and the children are all correct, James father was James Warren 1798 - 1881 Winchester, Hampshire and the mother was Sarah Lowe 1799 Lymington, Hampshire - 1862 Winchester, Hampshire.
Hope this will help.
Also found Sarah Norman yes at Crowthorn (broadmoor) on the 1891 census.

Thank you for your comments, Jim1 William has no sisters only two brothers as per Ermintrude46 post Stephen & Georege, Ermintrude46 yes that is the same William with his mother & stepfather this is the 1881 census that I mentioned above, also her full name as per the marriage cert is Sarah Warren Oberlander. Glen Field do not have a birth place or date at this time but could be worth having a look at, is her father John Oberlander occupation (cooper) if so then this is the same person.

William was born in1857, Surrey, England he married Sarah Oberlander in1877, Surrey, England, after this year Sarah disappeared and only William can be found on the UK census for1881 and then after that William & Sarah can no longer be found on any of the UK census after that. I believe that they have left the UK to live abroad, and I believe that some children as well.
Can anyone help point me in the right direction to find them.
Thank,

Hi
Have looked at the 1851 census this is a possible match, also now have the death certificate for Ann as she died in 1849 and Thomas is a visitor on the 1851 census and showing him as a brickmacker the same as the 1861 census it is looking more likely that this could be the same person.
And the person that I am looking for.

Hi Jan
As your husband has a direct line back to Thomas Norman and his Wife Ann, then I can more than help you I hold a family tree of some 2,200 names plus and 'Norman' is part of this tree.

This being so we can both help each other by collaborating to expand our trees.

O! yes i nearly forgot that surprise, I too can trace a direct line back to Thomas & Ann.

Regards, montycn (mike)
