« on: Tuesday 10 July 12 21:50 BST (UK)  »
I am now in posession of a hardbound copy of Archibald and Jenny Robinson, and their descendants. A kincardine township pioneer family from 1791-1984. This is authored by Helen Robinson back in 1984 this is the "Famed green book" that many Robinson genealogists are looking for. We have 8 to sell for those who are looking for this book. They sell for $50 plus shipping, contact me for details. Great for people who are researching Kincardine history as well.

Tx for the move mod!

Thanks to you two! Will research what I can whith what you have provided. Would be nice to know where Robert died or where he went and why when the immigrated. Can't find anything, he is the Robinson enigma so far. Would be nice to try and trace him further back as well, as before mentioned I see him in 1826 from Parish of Templecarn, but nothing other than that.. Thanks for all the help, will hopefully be making a trip to London to see if there is anything there.

JDC, you mentioned that you have people in Bruce Co. I would be interested in getting thier help. I live in Kingston Ontario, not too far.. however it is hard to get ime to get there.
Muchly appreciated..

Have looked thru all the records that have been posted here. Still trying to find out when/where Robert, Faith and children immigrated to. Did they go to Kincardine right away or immigrate somewhere else then make thier way there???

Is there a certain place that I could be looking for this man in Templecarn? Are they any migratory patterns of people back then? If people lived on Kesh or Ardess, what port did they usually leave from to come to Canada?

So many questions..

You may see my other post on the Fermanagh forum, however I have found a marriage record from 1826 stating that the Robert I am looking for that married Faith Knox (Parish Magheraculmoney), was from Parish Templecarn. If anybody here has info or is looking for the same guy, please let me know.

I have no birth date or parental information on him. Any information would be greatly appreciated!!

Ok, here is the update. Found transcription from George Armstrong, stating that Robert Robinson and Faith Knox were married 9/11/1826. Robert was from Parish of Templcarne and Faith was from the Pparish of Magheraculmoney. That is the only record I have of the pair.

James... our family bible has him born in 1844 and I have recently found a record of baptismal in 1842 so who do I believe... What I would like to know is if there is anybody out there that would know the general area where people lived to attend this parish. Also what records there are for that time period. Finally breaking a long drought feels good, but it just brings me to the next step.
