Lancashire / Re: Workhouse- Toxteth Park
« on: Tuesday 19 July 11 11:38 BST (UK)  »
This is a "shot in the dark" my GGrand-dad John Donoghue ( Donaghue ) died in Toxteth Park Workhouse on the 24th June 1902 aged 46 of pneumonia and T.B.

The only other details on his Death Certificate are his profession and address 12 Clive Street , Liverpool 8 also signature of the Master of the Worhouse ( informant) .

I have been trying to obtain a copy of John's Birth Certificate who was born in Ireland approx 1856 without success , does anyone know if or were there may be details held of his Date of Birth when he was at the Workhouse in question .

Durham / Re: John / Patrick Donohough
« on: Friday 13 May 11 14:12 BST (UK)  »
Thanks for both replies , I  have since been informed that unfortunately the Donohough Family in Durham has no connection to me because in 1891 the John I was seeking was living in Liverpool , Married a Mary Allen with Children .

The main problem I am meeting is the constant variants to the Surname , plus different Dates .

Best Wishes

Tony Donoghue
