Im not sure i do!   basically was tying up loose twigs on the family tree!!  The Malone connection is that my mum's nan's mother was bought up by her grandparents, the female was Margaret Malone!

 1841 census:
1.  Benjamin Rossiter: b about 1826 Somerset. registered living in Whatley. others on list do not appear to have any family connection with him!

2. Benjamin Rossetter: b 1831 Somerset. living Leigh Upon Mendip with father (James b1791) and mother (Hannah)

1851 census:
1. BR: (#2 above) living in Leigh with father (now widowed). occupation given for BR as journeyman carpenter
2. Benjamin Rossiter: b 1826 Lullington, Somerset. listed as  unmarried and a servant with Millet family

1861
same BR, servant, listed same place, same family, same job!! by 1871 census our servant is still a servant with Eliza Moore in Rowde.

There are several marriages listed for Benjamin Rossiter ..(not the servant above who is unmarried). Those in the Bath area (..ish!):
1869 Axbridge (cant find spouse)
1876 Melksham ( a little far away?) to Annie Ovens
1877 Amesbury to Elizabeth Matthews
1899 Wells (closer but would make him about 70!) to Elizabeth Hann

PPS!!   found a Benjamin S Rossiter born in Bath, but around 1839!  1861 census has him on a boat in Hong Kong as a RMA Gunner in the Navy!

have found a possible:  Jane Godwin living with Suzannah Godwin in Bathwick. birthdate given as c 1844. Suzannah is listed as widow of butcher. However: she is also listed as being mother of Jane ... which would seem to discount it being the same Jane Pow? Unless it's her mother-in-law and just recorded incorrectly!?  Have not been able to find any record of Samuel Godwin (or Goodwin...checked in case spelling changed) after 1871!  apart from one living in Leek, Staffs, but with wrong place of birth, wife etc!!  Not even found a listing for his death.  Poss death of Jane Godwin 1883 Bath.

Is Florence Mary Haines the same as listed as being born March 1873, registered in Islington?  FreeBMD vol 1b page 424?   Possible marriage 1900 in Edmonton to Edward Denton?

There is a Rose Maud Haines b March 1879 Holborn (though a little far from Tottenham which the census states!?)  FreeBMD vol 1b p799  or Rosa Maud b June 1879 Edmonton  possible marriage Dec1902 to John Rance??

marriage June 1901 Edmonton to Alice Bush

Eva Elizabeth b March 1881 Edmonton  vol 3a p278    marriage 1907 Edmonton possible to Percy Wingfield

Amelia b Apr/May/June 1883 Edmonton   vol3a p273    poss marriage Dec 1910 to Percy Watts

Hilda E .... only records show birth in Hampshire area BUT   switch the initials and you get Eleanor Hilda Haines b Oct/Nov/Dec 1886 Edmonton   poss marriage Sept 1918 Edmonton to Walter Bernhardt
