Hiya Ive been looking for William colbeck born 1816 maybe in killkenny not sure think his parents don't know who they are , moved there for work he was born there and they moved back to Batley Yorkshire  England

Looking for My ggreat grandad William Colbeck born in Ireland in 1816 thats all know he is then in 1841 census living in Dewsbury Yorkshire and Married think his mum and dad came back to England before the Potato Famine Help appreciated may have been southern Ireland not sure Thanks Olly73

can't find their births, Parents etc, They had a Son Carr Oliver B 1802 d 1857,

In Elsdon Northumberland, They had a son Carr Oliver 1802 -1857
Tried to find their Births, Parents etc but no luck

Hiya Stan, Thank's for your help, This all fits with the photo of him in Uniform with his wife and child James who we know was born 1913 and looks between 2 and 3yrs old, How can we get
information about his army records when he re-enlisted with
the "Bantom" battalions? can these records be accessed?
