Many thanks Carolyn, my Mum remembers her Aunt Alice and cousins when they came to visit in Norwich. I think i have all the info you mention apart from the military history of Percy McRoberts. I think i met him once at Scratby.

I am looking for the same John McRoberts, (2nd great grandfather) and would be interested to know if any records where found as my searches have been fruitless.
