Thanks but she didn't have any children after she married, so even though I have a brother that's not possible.

Ancestral Family Tree DNA Testing / DNA Testing
« on: Thursday 11 September 14 13:35 BST (UK)  »
Hi,

Not posted on here for a while, I was wondering if anyone knows about resent DNA testing is it worth doing how accurate is it, has any one on here taken one?

If yes, would it prove if my father now deceased was the son of his parents? I have a few suspicions that he was his sisters child but passed as her mothers child........she was 18 when he was born and her mother 43 ....not unknown at 43 I know 😊 just she had no children that I know of between 1909 -1918 the last two boys born to her died in infancy, so no living child since 1906 making it a huge gap of 12 years! Don't know why she would want another baby after all this time and her age, so that's why I've suspicions that it was her 18year old daughters who went on to marry but had no children.

Thanks Liz

My G G Grandmother Sarah Ledson was 88 when she died of ‘paraplexy’ at Woodyard on 5 June 1852: according to the
Liverpool Mercury she left ‘13 children, 91 grandchildren and 108 great-grandchildren’.

So still trying to find out if she had more than 13 children and did any die, wonder if she could remember all their names? ;D

Really glad I read this topic, I have been wanting to get my Great Grandfathers inquest report as he was crushed under his own cart aged 23yrs and lived for 6 days, there was a inquest.

Can you phone them for  copy? When i looked at the site couldn't see a link for reports
