Thank you for your replies.  I think the William Wakeman who died in 1970 isn't the one I am looking for but is perhaps connected to the same family - many thanks Jan

avm228  thank you this must be our William Wakeman.  We don't know much more about him other than his wife may have come from Pembrokeshire and his daughter Dora married Arthur? Guest.  We believe he was a gardener but don't know if he worked for a big house or was a gardener to lots of places.

We do have this one image of him.

Looking for information on a William Wakeman occupation gardener living in Bromsgrove Blackwell area around 1920s/30s married to Mary?  had a child called Dora.  Trying to find out date of death in particular.  Any information would be greatly appreciated.  Do know that he had a lot to do with the church.

Can anyone help/have access to the 1851 and 1861 census.  I am looking for Louisa Bowers born around 1846 in Shefford Bedfordshire.  I know that she married in 1865 but want to find out about where she was prior to that.

Any help much appreciated.

Trying to find burial place or any info on James Ward died 1.10.1921 at "Westerlee" Fortis Green Road, N10  he was 78 years old and a Leather Merchant.  Any info very much appreciated his wife was called Louisa and may have died a few years before him. :)  Would there be an undertaker still in the area who may have dealt with the funeral? and hold records?

Hello

I am looking for any info on a John Prentice born circa 1812 and died in 1851.  If anyone could find him on the 1841 census that would be great.  I know he was married to someone called Sarah.  He may have come from Kings Norton and I presume could be buried at the church there.

Many thanks for any info however little.
