Carmarthenshire Completed Requests / 1914: Trimsaran, Pembrey (Local knowledge?)

Hoping someone has either local knowledge or access to some records that could help ?

I have a Birth Certificate for November 1914 with a birthplace listed as "Llandyry House, Trimsaran, Pembrey".

I have no details of Mother's address at that time as the Birth was registered 12 years later in 1926 when she was then living in London.

I'm assuming that this was maybe a home for unmarried mothers (or at least expectant ones) as the certificate has no Father's name present and three years before was in Luton and two years after was in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Anyone know anything about this address ?

Many, many thanks for your research into this.  Apologies for delay in sending my thanks (I'm a weekend researcher).

We know that in 1911 (Census) they were both in Luton (he was a boarder with her and her actual husband).
She gives birth to the 1st Child (father un-named) November 1914 in Llanelly, Wales.
I'll assume that from your info they got to Doncaster Road say 1915 whereupon she gives Birth Jan 1916 and he gets electrocuted 19 days later.

Millie has to be the forename that she was using based on the Death Notice so we can assume fairly certainly that the Millie Thomas who shows at #96 on the N/C Parliamentary Roll 1918/19 is her.  The fact that she "qualified" suggests that she was still "a woman on her own who was resident"

Woman over thirty who were occupiers in their own right or married to men entitled to a local government vote, were given the right to vote by the 1918 Qualification of Women Act. The Equal Franchise Act 1928 gave women equal voting rights to men.

The next time I pick her up is a further marriage in 1922 down in London when she still has the married name of Stafford although it does state under Condition "...from whom she obtained a Divorce."
Interestingly one of the Witnesses is her (spinster ?) "Step-Daughter" from the Stafford Marriage namely Ethel Grace CORNISH (born circa 1900).
Family Names differ since she was born illegitimate to Annie (no relation) Cornish and certainly appears on that Luton 1911 Census with all the others.

So,  my favour to ask is,  can you further search forwards from that 1918/19 Parliamentary Roll to see when Millie Thomas (Thomas or Stafford or Cornish) might have disappeared from the property ?

Thanks for the info.   
No Electoral Roll is a bit of a blow.  Ah well....

Date on (& Off) was the assumption that over a period,  people would appear and then eventually be replaced by the new occupiers.  That way I'd have a general time span as to when she left the house/area for example.

Just to put you in the picture,  Annie appears to be popping up all around the country producing children and also several marriages (or "associations") and I'm trying to figure out the timeline.

Hello,  1st time on so I hope I do this correctly !

Samuel John THOMAS + Annie Amelia Mary STAFFORD (nee HUGHES) move to Newcastle approx 1914 living together probably at 96 Doncaster Road, Newcastle.
13/01/1916: Birth of John Norman (no father stated), Birth not registered until 08/08/1916
01/02/1916: Death of Samuel John (due to Electrocution-Accidental) whilst working for Armstrong Whitworth & Co (No. 64 Shop) Scotswood.   Coroner's Inquest 03/02/1916.

Seeking confirmation of
(a) Date on Electoral Roll and Who
(b) Date off Electoral Roll
(c) any info possibly available,  that was reported in the Press for Feb 1st 1916 (Date of Death) thru' Coroner's Inquest report

and any ideas people may have in tracking down further information.
