Here are the details of my connection to the Evans family.  This is all I have.

Margaret Evans 1775 - 1848 married a Robert Jones. They have a son named John Jones.

Margaret's father was David Evans and her mother was Hannah Roberts.
I have no further information on the Evans side.

Hannah Roberts is descended from the infamous Holland Family.

I have a John Jones = Elizabeth Williams around this time period.
His father and mother were Robert Jones = Margaret Evans.  If this is the same family as yours they were situated around Criccieth or Canarvonshire at this time.
But they are descended from the Holland's of North Wales through Margaret Evans line.  If more details are wanted I can get the exact area and dates on these people.
My records were produced by Lloyd's of London in the 1800's due to an inheritance case near Denbighshire.

Hello,  I have this couple in my family tree.  Robert Jones married Margaret Evans.  They had a son John Jones of which I do not believe moved to Australia because he married Elizabeth Williams.  They had a son John Jones who married Elizabeth Bolton and another son David Jones.  The John Jones above had a son John Jones 1873-1945 who married Hannah Allen.  They immigrated to Canada and this is where my family is now.  If this Robert Jones and Margaret are who you are looking for I can take the family back centuries through the Evans line.  Let me know if you are interested.
