Hi Alan,
We corresponded back in 2004. Unfortunately a lot of my emails were deleted by my computer about a year ago and I can only find one email from you dated 5.9.04, which didn't have much in it. I've done quite a bit of work on the Quakers since then, but I would have to check to see if there was anything specifically on your line. I don't think I have any further trace of your grandfather, I think I would have remembered if I had come across him as he had such an unusual first name.
I am off on holiday for the next fortnight, but if you want to get in touch directly you can contact me through the GOONS website, just search on the Gomersall name and my contact details come up.

Yorkshire (West Riding) Lookup Requests / Re: SHACKLETON Harewood area 1851or ?1841

Hi,
I've been compiling all the Shackletons in a specific area into families and tracked one line out to Harewood. I collected some info on all the families around there whilst I was at it. It was actually Christopher and Jane that I was following, but found some info on William and Sarah in passing.

Yes, I have Mary's family back 3 more generations. If you could just give me a few days to sort myself out, I have had several requests for info recently and am already 2 emails behind. Did you get Mary's approx date of birth from her death, as I don't have this info?
