Dear John
My mother's surname was Jones . She
was called Bronwen. Her mother was Eliza Ann and her father was David. David Jones was a postman i'n  who was killed on his round i'n 1930 i'n a cycling accident. I have the cutting from the Narberth observer of his funeral i'n Narberth. I would be very interested i'n knowing how the two photographs are so similar.
Thanks again
Dave

Hi
Was wondering how you got hold of the copy of the black and white photograph of the gas works at Narberth?

Dear Orielbenfro,
I have followed your advice and marked these threads as COMPLETED.
Thank you for all the help and trouble you have gone to. It is really appreciated. I apologise for the different threads. I will have to get someone to look through the information I already have to make sure I am clear in my own mind what I actually need to be found.
Again I apologise for my muddy thinking.
Thanks again for your assistance and advice.
I have found so much more help on this web site than anything I have managed to glean for myself  on Ancestry.UK. I can only reiterate how appreciative I am for experts like your self who are willing to help others.
Kind regards
Dave

Dear Morgan,
Thanks for getting back again to me and trying to help me sort this out.
I have this information about Peter William(s)
Marriage 21st May 1844 at the parish church  in the parish of Llanfair Nant y Gof in the county of Pembroke. Peter William and Elizabeth Smith . Bachelor and Spinster. Carpenter and servant. Father’s: David William (farmer) and John Smith Mason.
And I think I have found him in  the 1841 Census in Letterston as  Peter William(s) 18 Carpenter’s apprentice.
Is that any good?
Perhaps the date for Mary David's birth is way out ?
Confused.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks Dave

Dear Orielbenfro,
Thank you again for your help. You are a wizard!
Brilliant information. I think they must have been  non conformists. Margaret was always known as Granny Peggi of Crinow by my mother. Interesting that she was born in Kyffig. I had it wrong  as 'Kippin'. So that has cleared that up!
Thank you so much for your knowledge and expertise again.
Much appreciated.

Hi Morgan,
Sorry about this!

I am going on the age given  for Mary on the 1841 census for Letterston (HO107 /1444 / 14/20 Page: 14 )  . Mary was 30 years of age in 1841 which would make her 10 in 1821 !

On the 1851 census she is down as 42 years of age which would mean she was born in 1809 and therefore 12 in 1821! That can't be right.

My Great Grandfather was Peter William(s) but he was born in St Dogwells in 1821!I thought Mary and William were his parents.
I've gone wrong somewhere!
Thanks for helping me Morgan.

I have a date for a marriage between a David  William  (Letterston) and a Mary David in St Dogwells for 3rd July 1821 but this cannot be right?
Any ideas ?
Much appreciate your help Morgan,
Thanks
Dave
