I am trying to confirm the father of Thomas Powdrill (alt. spellings Powdrell, Powderill, Powderhill) Thomas was baptised 12 Apr 1732 St Michael, Sutton Bonnington, he Married Eleanor Jarram 17 Apr 1759 at Breedon on the Hill. I beleive that Thomas's Father was John possibly from Diseworth. Any information or connections would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for that, I am just a bit concerned that there might be more than one Henry & Sarah HAMER family around at that time.
The other children (older & younger) of Henry & Sarah all seem to have been baptised at St. Marys not St Margarets.
Apologies for my ignorance but would you be able to tell me if there is any way of finding her date of birth and obtaining a birth certificate.

Would anyone be able to check or confirm the following information I have:
Esther (or Hester) HAMER born about 1772, I have her as being baptised at either St Marys or St Margarets, Leicester on 29/10/1773
I beleive that her parents were Henry HAMER and Sarah (Sally) CHAPMAN
Possible siblings are William Chapman, Josiah Tomas, Adam, Henrietta & Henry HAMER.
Any information would be gratefully received.
