We don't know as we were referring to a place of birth recorded on the 1911 census as just slatefield and an earlier one stating Kilmear or Kenmare hence the original thread which was trying to locate the place from these references.

Hi Helen
yes I think that John Shea could possibly be the brother of Mary Shea who married John Riley as some of their children were also born in Bristol before they moved to Herefordshire. You mention a gg aunt, what was her name? was she the daughter of John Shea and Honora? did he marry again then if the first Honora died in Bristol in 1852? What are the details of her parents marriage in Rathbone (where is that?) Thanks

Hi all jmol17 here
looked at the post of booth births and found a birth of Edward Earlam Booth 1864 Cork - Father John Peter Booth Belleview house mother Hannah Ransford Bird. Found that John Peter married again in Bristol to the above Hannah in 1859 - his first wife Harriet Barbara Chamley died in 1856 (FindMyPast) Most trees associated with Harriet have her death in 1884. Quite a few records re Edward Earlam on various sites too.
