US Lookup Requests / Re: Looking for Reuben Doughty in Pennsylvania
« on: Thursday 07 February 19 16:04 GMT (UK)  »
I would agree with you, when I was searching it always came up Rueben Doughty & wife Margaret
so the one in Millville isn't the one I am looking for. The other how ever fits into what I know but I cannot find him on anymore census records. I tried various spellings but probably need to broaden that search some more. Thank you again you have all been so helpful.

US Lookup Requests / Looking for Reuben Doughty in Pennsylvania
« on: Tuesday 05 February 19 17:23 GMT (UK)  »
Hello Everyone
I am looking for this person I have him in the 1870 US Census for Elk, Jones Twsp, Pennsylvania
he is listed Doughty, Reuben age 23 W Laborer born England Father and Mother also foreign births.
I think he may be the same Reuben Doughty I have him in Ontario Records up till 1868 then he disappeared until I found this. I dont have access to the rest of the census records after 1870 so could someone kindly please check the rest of the census records for me or let me know where to look for further information.
Thank you Caseyjo

Yes her full name is Doris Muriel Keek Gillet, I jsut noticed when you wrote that it should of been Doris not Muriel.

I found there birth/death dates from ancestry.com tree but there was no further information on either of them. Noel was baptised 19 Feb 1888 Islington Middlesex

Thats all that I have, wish it was more, dont know if full address would help. In 1934 it was given as "Englefield" 11 Hampton Road Twickenham Middlesex, bank official.

Thank you

London & Middlesex Lookup Requests / Noel Smith & Doris M.k. Gillett

I am looking for information on Noel Smith 1888-1968 & his wife Muriel Gillet 1901-1968, last known address was Hampton Road, Twickenham, Middlesex. Noel was a Bank official. He was named as executor in the will of his uncle in 1930.

Noel Smith was the son of Emily Annie Mitchell & Joseph Smith. Emily was the daughter of William Mitchell 1825-1866. William is my husbands gr gr grandfather.

Would there be obituaries available for the couple & where?

Thank you

Cheshire Lookup Requests / Re: Alfred & Charlotte Mitchell
« on: Monday 27 February 12 12:53 GMT (UK)  »
I have received copies of the necessarry wills and have had much success in tracking down the rest of my Mitchell family. I know the Mitchell's were Tailors and looks like the Clarke's were printers and stationer's. Alfred's will on the other hand is loaded with names of his family members & where they lived so that filled in many many extra blanks on the family tree.
Would you still be able to take some headstone photos for me next time your in that area? I would appreciate it very much.

I am so gratefull for all of your help with my Mitchell family. Thank you!

Eliza Jane Storey June 28th, 1918 age 82 years was the d/o Joseph & Eliza Clarke & sister to William Henry Clarke, all buried in Brooklands. She is apparently buried with the Storey Family.
What is odd is that John H. & Eliza Jane Storey, their daughter Annie lived & died in Conway, Caernarvonshire, Wales, same place as Charlotte Mitchell. I was told years ago there was a connection to Wales but no one ever explained to me how.

Nice call there on the cemetery information, Thank you once again.
