Hi Looking info on a George Gandey on active service in ww2   his wife Elizabeth Gandey nee Patton died in 1942 lived at Glengannagh Farm Groomsport they had to sons Thomas and Denis   George and Elizabeth married in 1925  thats all info i have  Thanks Zion

Hi CATH151   In 1941 John Parke's mother was living at 6 The Point Groomsport and the father had died in 1924  do not think your john is the same one but thanks for checking

hI Sorry i misread the small print in newspaper it said son of Joseph NOT son Joseph  there was another son John Parke but cannot find anything about his death 1941   died from wounds at Dunkirk maybe i need to go to Specsavers
