Hello everyone.....just an update on Annie's progress. Annie came through the op well but very tired. She was able to sit up and drink some water (Monday). Tuesday morning was a bit rough but by lunch time Aniie was feeling a lot better and was able to talk to her mum on the phone. She is looking forward to coming back to her local hospital tomorrow (Wednesday). She sends her love to everyone and thanks you for your kind messages.

Hello Dee, and thankyou again. I suppose all that is left is to wait until all the Parish Records for Mars are completed and published on-line. It looks like mine will be one of the shortest single name family trees in history. Dad's brother Ralph had 2 daughters while I am the only son of Eric. If my only son, Richard, doesn't have children or only has daughters then my tree will make short reading.
I hope you have had a good dose of "CHALLENGE" with Walton Harry EUSTON.......That is probably the last we will ever hear of him.

With Many Many Thanks & Best Wishes

Hello Reylen, what a good idea. The William EUSTON you mentioned is a source of confusion for me since Oakleigh & Murrumbeena are neighbouring suburbs but that "seems" to be the only connection as far as I know.
Since what I feel I really need is Walton's 1st wife who died in 1914 I have stopped looking at Ruby & Mabel despite the similarities & coincidences. Ella & Walton's marriage cert gives no specific indication as to where she died and like you I have always assumed it was in Victoria. When I went to school 1+1 always equaled 2 and so it would seem to be a simple equation with Walton but unfortunately not.
The birth cert for Shirley  I attached because I found the middle name, Walton, interesting for a female and going on family tradions back then it made me more sure it was Walton Harry that I was looking for. Although having said that I was tricked into believing that the William Henry born to Mabel LINES had to be Waltons son since William was his father.   Ahhhh, the joys of family history.

With Many Thanks & Kind Regards

PS here is the death ceath I mention in my last reply.

Hello Willow,   my last computer died losing most of the info I had collected over 4 years so I am unable to help with an address. I keep search Sth Wales Directories on-line but so far have not been able to find it again. Thankyou for your interest and if I happen to find the address I will post it immediately. It sounds like a very good idea and hopefully one that will yield results.

Kind Regards

Wales / Euston In Wales

Hello everyone, I am trying to find the parents of Walton Harry EUSTON who, by the Australian certificates I have bought was born in Tryddyn in Nth Wales c1884.
Walton's father was Wiilam EUSTON a Veterinary Surgeon and his mother was Mary (or Mabel Mary) NEWTON. Failing to find anything about Walton Harry I decided to concentrate on his parents. I have been unable to find a marriage anywhere in UK. Looking for a William EUSTON born about the right time to have children in the 1880s I found a William EUSTON age 6 on the 1851 Glamorgan census. Searching the 1861 census someone else found the same family but with surname spelled FUNSTON...I could accept this as a mis-transcription. I cannot find the family at all in 1871 Glamorgan census but I did find a 22 year old William ESTON boarding in Swansea with occupation shown as a scholar. So far I have not been able to establish what he was studying. An email to the Swansea University revealed that it didn't open until 1910, so I have no idea where he was studying.
The only other clue I have came from a 1896 Glamorgan Directory showing William EUSTON Veterinary Surgeon with an address and phone No.
I am hoping someone might be researching similar names and could perhaps help me out or that SKS might know of resources to search that I have not yet come across. To try to identify William as a Vet I emailed several Vet Colleges and the Vet Registration Board with no success. I have also put a Letter To The Editor in The Leader Newspaer in Mold (which covers Tryddyn) and got one reply from a very nice woman but unfortunately she found no more than me.

Kind Regards

Hello again and thanks for your effort. You all seem to have come to the same conclusion as me......this won't be an easy one to solve. I was pleased to eliminate Mabel & Ruby as possible 1st wives although it didn't actually move me any further forward (or backward...depending how you look at it). Another strange coincidence I found on Digger Vict Inquest CD was a Mabel Alice LINES taking an un-named baby to hospital "for urgent treatment" in 1914, father unknown.
I have have no luck anywhere in UK and am hoping if I can find the 1st wife and buy the marriage and death certificates they may perhaps contain a vital clue (hence my original post). When I found the birth of William Henry in 1914 to Mabel Jane LINES I was sure this was the 1st wife but could not find her death. Then when Ronald was born to Mabel in 1917 it meant that she wasn't the woman who had died making Walton a widower even though Ronald may still have been Walton's son. I have attached Williams birth cert for you to look at.
I regularly search Prov & AusBDM on-line but have had no joy so far. As for the other questions you raise....yes I still have most of my hair although it is going grey and yes the brickwall could potentially cost me my house if I'm determined to resolve the issue. I have also attached Walton & Ella's 1st borns birth certificate. On my next post I will attach Waltons Death Certificate.
Well I've rambled on enough for now. So once again thankyou very much for all your efforts.

Kind Regards
Peter Euston

Hello Everyone and thankyou for your responses. I have tried to post twice with further details and neither have worked. I'll give more details later (if I can) but for now I apologize for not giving more info in original post.
I have discounted Ruby because she divorced in 1921, and Mabel had a 3rd son, Ronald, in 1917.....the same year Walton and Ella married. Irealize Ronald could still be Waltons but what I am really looking for is Walton's 1st wife who died on 17.1.1914.
I'll leave it at that for now but will post anything else I have this evening. I have attached Waltons marriage to Ella and Walt Hy's marriage to Ruby.

Kind Regards and Many Thanks
Peter Euston
