I'm decended from Joseph Pinchess. My sister and I have managed to trace decendants from most of Richard and Anne's children, we have probably 200 Pinchess' alone in our tree  and are in touch with several living relatives.

Is your Elizabeth the one that married William Bolesworth on Feb 24th 1830 in St Mary's Parish church, Hinckley? ;D

Hi TB

My name is Janet and I am a Pinchess by birth - i believe Richard Pinches is my 5x great grandfather. he was married to Ann Pegg in 1808 and lived in both Hinckley & Leicester.

I have traced my tree back to 1786 and like you could not find any evidence of richard's birth or death until now.

I look forward to sharing any info & thoughts with you

Can anyone help now with

1.  dates of birth for Leslie Austin and Howard

2. marriage info on Howard eg date & wife's name

3. date of birth for Marjorie is she his sister or is she Leslie's wife

4. do we have a date for Lilly's death?

I know this sounds a lot to ask - but it will take us one step further to finding LIVING rellies in Canada

Thanks in anticipation

I am looking for Lance Lesley PINCHESS b Leicester , England 1899 and his wife Lillian (ISON) I think they immigrated to Canada in about 1920-1923. I think it was the New Toronto area (wherever that may be). They had a son Lesley Austin PINCHESS (b 1923) I know he had a son because I found him on the CWG website (he too was married to a lady called Marjorie and it said they were from New Toronto). Lesley was in the Royal Canadian Airforce and died in WW2 (1943). I found him on the CWG website aged 23.

Any help /leads in just finding BMD dates would be much appreciated  .

One more thing I thought of there was a rumour that they also had connections with the name Silk and British Columbia and Mississauga(?) were also mentioned

thanks in anticipation

Don't know if any of you have ever come across this website but if any of your family were Roman Catholics they may be on here
