Family Bibles / Re: what is a family bible????

I am looking for the Evans family bible from Llanidloes area, The Lewis Family Bible from Llangurig, The
Grifiths family bible from Devils bridge and Llangurig, The Corfield family bible from Kerry Montgomeryshire, the George family bible from Llanidloes, the Beynon family bible from Treokey.
If you know where any of these are drop me a line as I would really appreciate it.

Hi all
I live in Llandinam and have do all my life so has many of my ancestors. I can tell you, if you are a Woosnam and you descend from Llandinam you are 100% related to Ian Woosnam.
The Woosnam's go back to a least to the 1600's in Llandinam. So congratulation not only are you related to one of the sporting greats but you descend from the greatest place in the world, Llandinam.

As a Lewis I have been told I'm related some how to the Rees family of Llangurig. My Lewis's family come from Llangurig as do most Lewis's in Montgomeryshire and have done for over 600 years.

Thank you. They got married in Coventry 1955 and I know all their children already. But I am trying to find out what Micheal Stanleys Father and Mother were called and did Micheal have brothers or sisters.
These people are all dead now so if you know that info please share with me.

Michael Shanley Born 1924 in Newcastle Died Sep 1988 in Coventry
Married to
Mary Teresa Melia Born 1933 Ireland Died June 1986 Coventry
The only two places Iam aware of that Micheal Shanley ever lived in were Newcastle and Coventry.
That's all I know, I would appreciate any info you may have.

Hi My partners Grandfather was a Shanley from Newcastle.
His name was Micheal Shanley and later moved to Coventry. Does anyone have any info on him or brothers/sisters or the name of his father or mother.

Martha Matilda (Tilly) was my G Grandmother, I never met her as she died 30 Nov 1973. A number of years before I was born. Martha Matilda (Tilly) had a number of children who have all died now. The last of those children to die was my grand mother Gloria who passed away in 2011.

Drop me a email and we can arrange a meet. I have to drop my other half Saturday night in Folkstone as she is off to Paris. I will be staying over night (Sat 2nd Nov) in Folkstone but should be back in Wales by the late afternoon (Sun 3rd Nov). I'm not sure if my mother (Gloria's daughter) will be available, but shes hoping to make it.
