Hi Kim,
Further to your post (29 December 09 ), Some of your info is slightly wrong.

James Francis was born in January 1897, He did have a twin brother but it was
ALFRED not THOMAS,
His sister ETHEL was born on the same day of the month but 3 years earlier.

Now here's a coincidence for you, Three of the eight children James and Lillie
Francis were also born on the same day of the month (February), Clifford, Edward and Rosemary, but in different years.

The eight children were, ( in arrival order ),

Fredrick,  (now deceased)
Clifford,   (now deceased)
Gordon,   (now 85 years old)
Edward (Ted), (now 83 years old) Had lunch with him yesterday.
Rosemary, (now 81 years old) Having lunch with her a week tomorrow.
Olive,  (now 79 years old)
Norman, (now 72 years old)
Morris David (deceased 1961)

Please come back to me if you require any more help with YOUR family tree, if I am able to help I will be happy to do so, after all you are family.

Surrey Completed Look up Requests / Re: motorbike accident 1961
« on: Thursday 16 February 12 16:21 GMT (UK)  »
Hi, I think the person you are refering to was my brother, His name was  spelt Morris not Maurice as given in your enquiry. If this is the correct person he was married to Jean who bore 2 daughters. Its nice to know some one out there has a need to know.
hello,

can anyone help?

I'd like some information or points in the right direction on how to find the following information.

Apparently, my gt grandparents had around 13 children. One of my grandfather's brother (who was a lot younger than him ).

I have been told that he died at the age of 19. I have been told that he was riding on a motorbike. This would have been around 1961 in Surrey.

Could anyone help me find any newspaper or stories on this please?

Thanks.

Thanks for your help.

I have just emailed the Local Studies Library (Croydon), just saying that I was enquiring about newspaper articles between Sept - Dec 1961.
I don't want to get there and they don't have them.

They replied with an Out of Office, saying due to the high volume of enquiries received, they aim to provide a response to enquiries within twenty working days. Enquiries are answered in order of receipt.

So hopefully, someone may be able to help me.
