HI

There is no way to be 100% sure as the paper is old - it looks like Adelard which is an unusual name...along with a Rendolph Taylor...again hard to trace...

I was told Adelard is a French form of the name Adalhard...

but ????

Hi
Thank you for all the help.

I know nothing more about the name Adelard than that is appears in my grandfathers notes with a birthdate..the year is too faded to see anymore..

the family Taylor has moved all over the world...I am in New Zealand - but places lived seem to have been the UK, US , Wales, Singapore etc etc..which makes searching incredibly hard...

I will go take a look at the info you have provided...I am wondering if the name Taylor has been altered in time too..

Hi

I found a Joseph Adelard Taylor and Adelard Taylor and Adelard Edouard Taylor in Quebec Vital and Church Records ( Drouin Collection 1621-1967) in my search.

Both Joseph and Edward ( Edouard) are name that crop up in my family - seem to like to re use names in later offspring..

the April Birthdate may or may not be - the into was taken from some very faded and hard to read old documents...I have been trying to find an Adelard Taylor and the only ones so far I have found come from Quebec- though I have never know my family to have any links there...

Canada / Adelard Taylor in Quebec?

Hi

I have been trying to trace and family and have found a name in my search for Adelard Taylor..with a rough date of birth given as 16 April ???? .I suspect it could be in the 1700's or 1800's date range...

I have searched the census records for info and the only link I can find is someone with that name in records in Quebec. If anyone has any ideas or info or knows a link to this person - it would be so appreciated . I am quite new to geneology and still feeling my way around and learning...

I am also interested in any Taylors in Quebec especially those with the tendency to move or emigrate...

Thanks
