He passed away when my mum was young and i would love to give her some history about him. if anyone can help it would be very much appreciated.

well after checking and double checking i cant find any other john thats a possibility so i think im going with this one. His parents were samuel and jane graham i dont know alot about ireland census's but if anyone can find them in ireland after 1814 then hes not my john. if he is mine then i would love a marrage record of his parents samuel and jane as i have found 2 other children for them aswell whos names tie in with my tree as being recurring names. thank you all.

Down / John Hardy Silcox

Hi i am looking for information about john hardy silcox 1796 and the only birth i could find was that of john silcox born Dromore Parish, Down, Ireland. I am hoping someone could tell me if he boarded a boat or came to england with his family in the early 1800's. My john married in london sept 1814 so if i can find a passenger list before 1814 with john silcox onboard it would link ireland john to london john and would probably explain why i have a thing for irish men lol. Thanks for any help you can give.!!!

ok have received the birth cert and marriage cert, on Amos bunces birth cert it shows no father so that was no surprise, the marriage cert for william and hannah was a bit more interesting it showed that none of them could write as they marked there names with an X which i suppose was common but it also showed williams father was also william which has now put me right back to square one as i thought his fathers name was thomas, so all the research i had already was wrong.
