Thanks a million...I did come across another mention somewhere which seamed to showed that both spellings have been used..Didnt know that there was Delaney family still living there..Its not an uncommon name in county Offaly but I guess that its quite possible that they might be my distant cousins from the 1700s...how good would that be !!!!!.

Hi,

My ancestors in Wicklow came from the townlands of Ballynatona and Ballylow near Blessington and Ballinahown near Boystown.

Names are

Murphy, Higgins from Ballynatona
Clarke, Healy and Twyford from Ballinahown
Fitzsimons from Ballylow (though this is a more distant connection)

Interested on any information you have on the  Healy Family you may have.
at least one branch are my ancestors..
might be able to help you out on these townlands
