Ah, thanks for that! I didn't even think to check Cheel marriages!
If anything I imagine that it is William & Elizabeth who are the parents, although yeah, if that's the case, who is the William d. 1804? William & Elizabeth seem to have had: Ann (1798, Hucking nr Stockbury), Mary (1800, Hucking nr Stockbury), Hannah (1805, Stockbury), and then there's poor ol' George whose mother is Elizabeth, but no recorded father.
Unless the record on FamilySearch just doesn't have the father's name, and it was missed off. *shrugs*
Thanks again,
Alan.
There don't seem to be many instances of the name Cheel in Stockbury on familysearch
Sarah Cheal married Richard Gadd 16 September 1799
William Cheel married Elizabeth Boseley 5 June 1797
William & Elizabeth christen a Hannah 27 January 1805
but William could already have died ... burial of a William 17 November 1804
If George is a son of Elizabeth with no mention of a father Elizabeth could well be the widow of William but that does not solve the mystery as to who Georges father is.
You really need to see if there is any additional information on the registers
