A marriage i have  names are written in lattin  1858    2 daughters b to them in Cork   no research has been done for them  Mary  Elizabeth  , this family moved to Merthy Tidfel Wales   about 1860  4 more children b 3 sons  1 daughter  Margaret   1871 who is my late husbands grandmother . The family all came to NZ on the ship Forfarshire 1875   to Auckland . 1 son William Drowned  age 17yrs 1884    2nd daughter   Elizabeth  died 1887  Mary the wife nee Regan  died 1896 all are buried in one ,the Catholic Graves Symonds Street Auckland NZ , Mary the eldest  d 1898  she had married .Edward OKeeffe  no death record for him in NZ 1895   Elect Rolls  last information for him,Family information given was wrong  , they under stood Micheal 2nd youngest had gone back to Ireland  , proved wrong he died in Auckland 1946 his information entry at the undertakes records    father Edward OKeeffe  mother Mary Regan  her mother  Mary Morrison    Cork . Patrick i havent researched    ,I believe the death record for  a Edward Okeeffe   1900  Dublin may be our Edward who went back .,  the Micheal  as family had been told had gone back  untill i had the real proof he didnt .. So many  Edward OKeeffes  ,, Reading an old reply    on the Wales census form 1871  James Regan  lodger was Marys  brother .So apart from Patrick and Margaret  OKeefe m Charles Gordon 1892  Napier  NZ only family  i know  about .

Hello Margaret,
This was  a nice surprise  a family connection at last .
I have information on Thomas ONeill and Isabella Campbell children , Bernard 1830  Jane Neil  b 1831  Thomas b 1834  ,(i havent found  a b for  Ann Oneill  may be in C Down records  ) all born in  the Parish of Clonoe  Tyrone . I have a baptism record  sent  to me for Thomas . No marriage  record for Thomas  and Isabella   in  Armagh  Catholic Archives  for Tyrone Armagh or Louth
a search has been  done  in  the archives records but Isabella is listed as a sponsor at a marriage 1923 Parish of Clonoe
Thomas   enlisted at Banbridge 1854 with the 65th Regiment of York  he is listed as a weaver  on his papers ,to NZ 1856 on the Lancaster Witch.
i have no info for Bernard.
Can you pm me please for my email address .

Edward  OKeeffe Mary Regan    and 2 daughters all b in Cork  4 more  so the birth years would be 1841   1842  -3    4 children b in Merthyr Tydfil as in  the Wales  census   , Edward age 30 yrs  Mary age 28   no they are not in any more census in England to NZ 1875 to Auckland on the ship Forfarshire .The O in Irish familys at that time was dropped of by the British to anglicise the Irish  this now causes confusion about the spelling .
The Conna Cloyne  Cork  looks promising . The Regans  many of them .

Thanks so much for this info  .

Tyrone / Re: ONeills Tyrone

Yes they are the one and same person  not assuming  at all , we have that information ,but don't know what parish Isabella came from to find a marriage.
The Parents Thomas ONeill  Isabella  (Ally )Campbell are their 3 children   spellings  by the priests when putting entries did get things a bit wrong   the townland was Annaghboe   or Annaghmore Parish of Clonoe many ONeills 80 and Campbells 60 on a census at the time ., I have done much research not new to it . Ally   Isabella's   brother was a William Campbell , I wouild like to find this part of my family ggrandparents.
