« on: Monday 25 February 13 18:04 GMT (UK) »Can anyone tell me where this house was/is located in Knighton? It is shown in parish registers in 1800 ish and probably earlier. Tourist information said they thought it was a B&B now but I cannot find any information on it.
Go to google maps and put in LD7 1BT. Zoom in to street level. There is a petrol station on this street (you may have to go up or down the street to find it.) On the opposite side of the road there is a black & white house. This was The Great House. It is now a B&B. It is next door to the grey stone house with the sand coloured window surrounds.
