I had forgotten this thread was out there. Thank you for this! Since this posting I've also been able to figure out who her father was through an indemnification order.

Looking through my records, the transcription didn't come from the FHL, it came from the transcriptions of the parish at http://leicestershire.webs.com/.

Leicestershire Lookup Requests / Death Record of Mary, wife of James Harrison
« on: Saturday 19 August 17 18:21 BST (UK)  »
I am seeking a copy of a parish record death. I've joined a couple of sites including FindMyPast and others and nobody seems to have this particular book. The record is for "Mary". The transcription from the Leicestershire Family History states she was buried in Grimston on September 9, 1835. Wife of James Harrison. If anybody has access to this film and could get me a copy of this one record, it would be sincerely appreciated. It's the only record of this entire family I have not been able to get a copy of for the book I am putting together. Thank you.

Rutland / Susannah Nutt baptismal record
« on: Sunday 19 June 16 21:48 BST (UK)  »
Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had access to the film or book if they could take a snapshot of a record for me. It is only one of two records I need to complete my family history book.

The record is for a Susannah Nutt who was christened on 28 Dec 1793 in Uppingham, Rutland, daughter of Mary Nutt.

If anyone has access to the film and could do this, it would be sincerely appreciated.

Thank you,
John

I was wondering if anyone had access to the Grimston, Leicestershire microfilm and could copy a record for me. It is one of two records I need to finish my family history book.

The record is the death of Mary Harrison. She died on 09 Sep 1835 in Grimston, Leicestershire at age 48, wife of James Harrison.

If anyone has access to the film or the book who could grab a snapshot, it would be sincerely appreciated.

Thanks,
John

Lincolnshire Lookup Requests / Weston's of Stainby
« on: Thursday 02 July 15 03:04 BST (UK)  »
Hello everyone,
I am seeking the BMD of a Samuel Weston and that of his wife Jane. I don't have much on the two except between the years 1736-1758 the couple had eleven children, all born in Stainby.

The children were: William was born in 1736, Anne 1738, Samuel 1739, John 1742, William 1744, Joseph 1746, Thomas 1749, Mary 1752, James 1754, Jane 1755, William 1758.

If you go by the standard naming conventions for the children, Samuel's parents could have been William and possibly Mary. Jane's could possibly have been Samuel and Anne.

According to my information, the son Samuel married Tryphena Musson, both died in Stainby. The son Thomas married Ann Briars in Fleckney in 1781.

Any assistance or leads would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
John

Mystery solved for Frances. I located the 1841 and 1851 England Census records. Frances was the daughter of James Harrison who was born in 1801 in Eaton. She married William Anstey in 1833 in Grimston.
