Thank you for your reply. I have seen some of this information before. Unfortunately I cannot make a connection. My Benjamin Pincott was probably born between 1780-1800 but I cannot find a birth or baptism for him. His son who served in India has Benjamin listed as his father and as being from Bisley, Gloucestershire. Thanks again for your help.

I have a Donald MacIntosh Born about 1766 Sutherland and died about 1850 Dornoch, Sutherland.
He was in the 93rd and was wounded in the West Indies. His son Donald was born in Dornoch 1821 and came to Canada Approximately 1834 with many of his family. Maybe there is a connection?

Leonard Wheatley, Whitley, whitely was my 5 times great grandfather. He served with the military in India from 1790 til his death in 1822. On his records he was born in Lancaster between 1771-1774,
Different dates on various documents. I was wondering if anyone could point out any resources to find his parents.

Some of the info I have seen and some is new. It is a beginning, finding Ann has been a chore.
I cannot find William on the 1841 either, but he was a coachmen so maybe he was on the road and missed the census? More Shaws in Yorkshire than you can shake a stick at, figuring out who belongs to who is the hard part. I have got to go to work now. Hope to respond more later.
