I'm not entirely clear what information you are after. There is this death notice from 1903:

"BOWLING SHIPBUILDER DEAD - Mr James Scott, the head of the well known firm of ship builders at Bowling, died yesterday in his 73rd year."
Wednesday,  Oct. 14, 1903
Publication: Edinburgh Evening News
Really any death details, obituaries, of this Scott family since this date please.

I would be most grateful, if someone could throw some light and hopefully details on this Clydeside family.
I am sorry but what I have to date is a bit sketchy, but hopefully there might be those who has access to past obituaries, that could start to fill in some of the blanks of this family please:

James Scott 1820-1889
A partnership was formed in 1892 between James Scott and his two sons, Charles Wood Scott 1858-1931 and James Scott Junior 1860-1950 , the firms name was changed again to Scott and Sons.
James Wood Scott 1894-1915/7
James Scott Junior 1860-1950 son Charles and his nephew James carried on the partnership after James Scott died in 1950.
Charles Scott and his brother William Scott became directors when James Scott retired in 1958.

Thank you, every day feels like Christmas with your research.
Sadly on your follow up leads plus Family Search and some Ancestry, this Kitchen line goes cold.
At least not back to New York, plus many of the christian names are unfamiliar.
But you know what I still got a kick out of doing the research, and what's more passing it on to two family members.
Have a good festive season.

See "Sandra" reply his parents are Ted and Ruby 1940 census and also from his death certificate.

Yes you may well be correct here in the below - thank you.
One potential confirmation is that this Harold had a son named Harold Wayne “Duffy” Kitchen.
I was just hoping that there might be more information on either of his marriage certificates.

Got it, this seals it on Find a Grave comment:
I only met Harold once when I was about 9 or 10. He was the father of my two half brothers, Harold (Duffy) & Jerry (Boe).
Left by Charlotte on 23 Mar 2023
Charlotte is his daughter.
Wow you and Sandra have done it - thank you so much.
