Hi, I was wondering if you may have a Charlotte Davies Bapt. 3/11/1878 Montgomery. I know she was a resident as she  appeared on the 1901 and 1911 census record. She was classed as a Imbecile in 1901 but 1911 does not state her condition. I am trying to find out information as to whether she died at the workhouse and if so, where would she have been buried and where records of burials would be held. Any help would be gratefully appreciated, thanks

Yes, I believe William died around 1949 and Mary around 1953 and they are both supposed to be buried at Smithdown Cemetery but I cannot find any entries there either

Hi just like to let you know I received William Brown's birth certificate today . He was born on 16 August 1879 at 22a Albert Street, Sub District of West Derby. His father being Thomas Brown, a Plasterer and mother being Martha Eleanor Brown formerly Lomas. She registered the birth on 23 September 1879.
Now here's  the problem,  ??? I have gone onto find my past and am unable to locate him. I spoke to my father-in-law and he remembers seeing them on a regular basis when he was a child(he was born 1936) and he believes his grandparents were living at Claribel St, near Princes Park.
Can anybody suggest where I should go from here. Any help would be gratefully appreciated
thanks
