I am related to the Sherrards who are buried at Mallusk Cemetery and have spent years researching them. I am saddened to think that anyone would throw old photographs in a skip! Well done for salvaging them! I would love more information or to see these photographs, please. I live in Northern Ireland. Thank you.

Antrim / Re: Do you Know any of these McNerlin's
« on: Wednesday 30 September 20 23:30 BST (UK)  »
Hi everyone, I might be able to help. I am related to the McNerlins through a marriage, way back.... There is a Daniel McNerlin in my family tree who married Margaret Barr. When she passed away he married Elizabeth Cox. Daniel and Margaret had a son, Edward Ralph McNerlin, who married Cissy Lewis and they had a son, Edward Campbell McNerlin. I could give you more names and information if you think these are your relations. The family lived in County Down, though, not Belfast, near Seaforde.

Please could I have a copy of the grave? I think that this Robert was related to my  3x great grandmother who was also from Rathfriland in Northern Ireland and emigrated to Australia! Thank you. Heather Cardwell

Yes, this is the death. The only one I can find for a Roger McGrath! Bridget's husband is Bernard Nugent. I have found a wife for Roger! Margaret  - who died in Garvallagh in 1890. Bridget Nugent was present at her death too but says Bridget is her daughter IN LAW. Could not be possible as the daughter in law would have to have the same surname as the mother in law so must be an error. Really trying to track Roseanna, though, to make sure that I have the correct father...that this is the Roger who is her father. One problem, the McGraths/Nugents in Omagh are Roman Catholics yet Roseanna was married in a Presbyterian Church! Thank you for the variation in spelling for 'McGrath', I shall now research using different spelling.
