Hi Robyn,
I've just started looking into my family history. I'm looking into the Gray side. My Great Grandfather is the John Gray born in Queensland that I think you are chasing. I think his parents were John Gray and Elizabeth Hodgetts. If this is right then this John Gray was a Park Ranger at Gray's Point NSW for around 40 years. He then had my Grandfather Stanley Gray (mother unsure) and then my Dad Allen Stanley Gray.
