Hi I am a 'Crabb' myself and have a copy of our family tree. It only goes back to William Crabb born 1780 who married Margaret Brodie but thought it interesting that he was known as 'William Crabb of Laurencekirk Kincardine. Might be of use to you

Hi not sure if this is any help but just saw your comment re Sarah Charlotte Western. I am trying to track the history of our house which was built in Bridgwater about 1880. Have found that in 1911 Sarah was shown on the census as a servant and was in fact a companion to Mrs Anne Emma Tratt a widow in her late sixties. Cannot find her death but I know that Mrs Tratt  died in 1917.
