Thanks Maureen this is great, I have also found a lot more since I last posted here. I am also a descendant of James Bosson and Margaret Dean, Their Son George Bosson b 1813. Married Maree Locket and had a Son David Bossons b 1842 and then Years later Married Mary Rhead Who had James Rhead Bosson b 1859, George was a shop owner in Tunstall on King Street and d 1871. David and James both work in the potteries. James married Lydia Harris in 1881 and they had 9 Children In 1903 they all moved to New Zealand. Frederick Bosson b1881 was the oldest Son. Fred Married Alice Emmy Gally they had 6 children one being Marcus Frederick Bosson b 1918 Who married my Grandma Joan Claribel Coates and they had Six Children the oldest being Rex Lloyd Bosson, b 1943 who died 2011 my Father. One of my biggest things is finding the right George because this is where I am stuck. I have been given a few different pieces of info and they are all different Georges so I was hopeing if spacecookie had found something out that could help me to unravel this mystery.
And am wondering if he had other children with his first marriage. And who his father and mother are.
Spacecookies Thomas is my Gr Grandfathers Brother so I thought this a great place to start.

Hello I was reading through this chat session and saw you mention a John Bosson b 1771 I did find a john bossen b 1771 whos father is peter bossen. I am going down my tree with the information I have which is George Bosson b1830( and also from another relative George b1813) father is Joseph Bossen b1802 whose father is John bossen born 1771 father was Peter. How I get to this George is a George Bosson married Mary Rhead who Had James Rhead Bosson b1859 staffordshire who had Frederick Bosson b1881 who is my gr Grandfather.
Anyway where I am confused is that I was given a copy of Georges Death certificate which states that he died at the age of 54 in 1871. I have heard that he was married twice and one certificate states his father is George and the other his father was Joseph.
So I am wondering if anyone can help me with my confusion. Please Help....

I am so lost with the George information I have as one relative shows George as being born in 1830 and another relative has him being born in1813 and then I was given a copy of a death certificate saying he died in 1871 at the age of 54. I have searched and there are so many George Bosson. Spacecookie do you have the right George? Please help
