Hope someone can help me.  I came across a death notice of Ross A Pannowitz on Trove but I haven't heard of him before.  All I know is his fathers name Michael (Mick) mother unknown brothers were/are K & Phillip.  Death 10 May 1949 aged 4yrs & 4 months, from Beresfield (Newcastle, N.S.W.).

Rosball & Cupoflife,
Thank you both so much for your help.  I found out who Marilyn & her parents were, as well as dates.  I already had her fathers parents.  Also found out she has two siblings that may very well be living.  I'm sooo excited by all this information.

Don't know about anyone else but working on family history is like a drug for me, the more I get the more I want (information/details that is).  ;D

« on: Thursday 24 July 14 09:35 BST (UK)  »
Searching through the Winchelsea, Victoria Cemetery name list for the name Mousley I came across a "Marilyn Mousley"and I have no idea who she is or who her parents are.  The tombstone says In loving memory of Marilyn Mousley passed away 25/06/1956 aged 4 years.  I'm hoping someone can help with this puzzle piece.

Thank you in advance, I appreciate all help given.

Regards Yvonne

My mother sent me a book my fathers cousin had put together, but there's very limited info on the "Knapp" family.  It is mostly on the "Mee & Pannowitz" lines.
In this book it states that William Snr came over ahead of Mary Ann.  Mary Ann stayed until William Jr was born then she followed on her own, no mention who Will stayed with, he came over years later.  Harriet is my 2x great-grand-mother & she wed Adelbertus George Pannowitz, aka George (george had a habit of changing the spelling of Pannowitz many times).
If you're wanting a copy of what i have please let me know, but I'm thinking you have this and more from what I've seen.   ;D

Can anyone help me ?  I'm looking for information on John Henry Vizard. Born 6 Sept 1877 @ Southampton, Hampshire, England, died 2 July 1951 @ Adelaide South Australia  Would to know when John came to Australia & the name of the ship.  It is believed he arrived between 1901 & 1910.  It is possible he worked his way over as a Ship Stewart or Cabin Boy.
Any information is greatly appreciated & I wish to thank you in advance for everything.

John

Thank you everyone for everything you have given me.  I wasn't expecting this much.  Will be going over it all on the weekend.   :D

I found some paperwork this morning stating there was two William Henry Knapp (father & son).   William Henry Jr was born in England.  But I am confused, on one death Certificate (William Snr)William Jr is down as John & John is down as George, so I'm told.  And why would they have a son John & one Jonathan.   ???

Also found some of William Snr ancestors details(b,d,m & baptisum)

I'm looking for Ancestors & Descendants of William Knapp married Mary Ann North, in 1839 @ Eddington England.  After moving to Australia (date & vessel unknown), William a carpenter landed in New South Wales, then moved on to Victoria.   Settled in Portland, then in 1853 bought property in Hamilton.
Would be greatful for any information.
