Hi Christina
Tried sending you a private message but not sure if you got it. Could you try sending a private mesage to me. I have found another lady in Canada whose 4th G Grandfather was also John McKenzie.

Hello, I sorry I spelt it wrong, Darragh in Limerick!  How strange you should be from Liverpool and all the local places from my childhood are mentioned!  I was born in Hooton, my Dad farmed there, am now living in New Zealand!!  Edward Payne married Elizabeth Disney in Essex and they had several children including Charles who became the master of the Pytchley Hunt then the Wynnstay Hunt.  Edward was in the 9th Lancers. Thank you for answering my post.

Hi,
I am looking for descendants of James Soutar who married Christian Sanders in Blairgowrie in 1746.
Also descendants of William Soutar who married Janet Shepherd in 1749 in Lethendy and Kinloch.
Both had sons called William born in 1752 one of who may be my GGGG Grandfather.
Hoping someone can help!!

David

Hi,
Maybe WE are related!!
I am trying to find more about Will Soutar whose son James born 1772 in Caputh married Margaret MacKenzie in1812 in Caputh.
They are my G x 4 Grandparents.  I can find no more concrete information about Will and there is nothing about a wife.  It is only his name on James' birth!!

Hi,
Interested in your search for MacKenzie family.  My Great x 5 Grandparents are Donald MacKenzie and Elisabeth Duncan married 1790 in Caputh and they had 8 children.  Margaret MacKenzie born 1791 married James Soutar in Caputh in 1812.  James was born in 1772 in Caputh but I only know his father was Will Soutar and it is he that I am trying to find more about.
