, I know he was born in that year as I have seen his death certificate which thankfully had his age on it. So its definitely about 1897. We are from Ireland/Belfast, I don't understand how its the nortumberland fusiliers myself, but my dad is adamant that there was so kind of recruitment for them at the city hall which his granddad enlisted in. I don't know if this was accurate, sorry im being so vague. My granddad was a completely different generation so my dad never really asked him much about his dad (james senior) when he was alive. So I'm really starting from scratch
. I know in later years James senior lived in McFarland court and Eureka St but his wifes name is something I still cant find. My family say that she died in childbirth when her son my granddad was away in the RAf in ww2.
