I have a common ancestor which appears to be on my mothers side. The name being McClelland but that's as far as I can go. Some of the family I have never been able to find, all female. I have no record of any of the family coming out to Australia,  I have seen other peoples trees and they also have not filled the gaps.  :)

Thank you for your thoughts and help. I new this was a stab in the dark. This Iris King has a very high DNA to me, but I don't have any other clues, other that her name and year of birth. I have tried contacting her, many times, plus another person who also has a high DNA to her with out any results. I have checked the NSW birth's but they finish at 13/4/1924 with no luck.  I would say she is no longer alive.   :)

I am find a tree on family search with Mary birth 1872. It has the mother and father, as Susan birth Tennessee and father Durham Tennessee, but the children are not adding up..

there appears to be two new children.  so Alonzo and Mary A would be correct. Davis age   around 12 not there. So that would make it correct. :)

yes I have the marriage record, and she was a Miss Martha Lane at the time of marriage.
One of the names in the 1880 census you have posted is spelt incorrect, but that doesn't matter. :)

thanks for your replies.
After Oct 1890 she goes under the name of Martha Douglas - also spelt Douglass in the States., and dies in 1896.
