Hi Nel Gin,

I have just read your message offering research help in Texas.

I am researching one of my ancestors who emigrated with his family in 1883 and I wondered if it would be possible to ask some advice regarding research in Texas.

Would it be ok if I could PM you with my research enquiry?

Kind regards

Hampshire & IOW Lookup Requests / LONG Family IOW Look Up Please
« on: Tuesday 04 November 14 16:59 GMT (UK)  »
Hi

I have been told by IOW RO that one of my ancestors, Emily LONG was buried at Carisbrooke parish church on the 10th November 1830 aged 7 months but I am unable to visit the records office to take a copy of the burial register so I wondered if anyone could photograph this for me please from the microfilm copy?  I have searched on Family Search and I could not find anything.  According to IOW RO Emily was baptised on 9th May 1830 at Carisbrooke or Node Hill (parents Peter and Hannah Long) but I also could not find this on Family Search.

Also, another sibling, Emma LONG was born c.1832 in Newport according to the 1841 but I have been unable to find the baptism record on Family Search.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thank you.
