I am trying to find information on James Harrison born 1780 who was transported to Australia on the ‘Earl of St Vincent’ arriving in Australia 1823. He was 42 years old when tried for stealing copper and his was trade given as Tobacconist. He was tried in Athy, 8 July September 1821, which is 19 kilometres from James '"Native Place" of Monasterevin in County Kildare, Ireland.
Hopefully there's an slight chance that he had a wife & children in Ireland, who remained in the district after he was transported to NSW. If this happened, I am hoping that James may also have Irish descendants today in the Athy/Monasterevin district who may be able to provide some earlier family history. Died Australia 1840
Also information regarding Catherine Howe/Hawe. She was born Kilkenny 1803.Her father is listed as Garret, mother Catharine and they resided  Parish of Tiscoffin, Kilkerry.
She was transported to Australia in 1828 for theft of clothing on the ‘City of Edinburgh’. She married James Harrison in 1829 and when he died James Moran. She died in 1862 in Australia.
Both were transported for 7 years
