the only thing that spring to mind is Wymering Manor, not over the hill but in Cosham, which is a northern part of Portsmouth. it apparently looks Tudor but was built earlier and is well known with ghost hunters and in the late 60's and 70's was used as a youth hostel

If you google Wymering Manor, you shold be able to find some info on it,

Hi Kris,

i've got Annie's immigration record from Australia, she travelled with her daughter.
i would love to find out what happened to Annie or her daughter for my mum as she was a child when they left but she can remember them well,

i have since found out that Annie went to Australia with her daughter but her son stayed in the UK.
Annie's daughter was Betty (Ann Elizabeth) Breeden(nee Vann) and her husband was Peter.Betty was born in 1936.

thanks again for all your help

Hi Selina,

both Kenilworth and Rosetta Rd's are still there,i don't have a clue what the Poulner would have been/meant
the best place to find out about the electoral roll is the Record Office in Museum Rd,unfortunately i was there just this week but i doubt I'd be able to go again before Christmas, sorry.
there is a website for the ro . i know they usually shut for stock taking around the first couple of weeks in december so you might want to email them pretty quickly if there is nobody else unable to help,
