The Scottish Genealogy Society is hosting a Zoom talk on 21 April by their military expert, Ken Nisbet: "Commemoration and Remembrance". The talk begins at 7.30pm, lasts for about two hours (including time for a Q&A session), and is free to members; non-members are welcome to attend for a small donation. Anyone wishing to watch via Zoom, please email: meetings@scotsgenealogy.com (link sends e-mail). Alternatively, if you would like to attend the Zoom talk in person at the Society Library, 15 Victoria Terrace, Edinburgh, please let them know by the email above.

The final item on our syllabus for 2024 is a talk by Margaret Fox, Archivist, on “The Servants in Traquair House – What the Archives tell us about their lives” on Monday 18 November at 7.30pm. As usual this will be held at the Augustine United Church, George IV Bridge, Edinburgh and is free to members. Non-members are welcome to attend for a small donation. There will be an opportunity to discuss the talk afterwards over tea, coffee and biscuits. If you are a member and wish to attend on Zoom, please email: meetins@scotsgenealogy.com.
