Hello Signet - I am sorry to say that I have never been able to trace any
photos.

Barbara is correct I only know what is already on this site about him.

I am sorry I can not add anything to help you with.

Best wishes

Hello - Thank you all for your great kindness. There is now enough
information about this man (A) To delight his daughter and
(B) to enable me to tell his story in the Armistice Exhibition
of men and women who served and survived.

Thank you all very very much.

With best wishes from a very wet South Devon.

Hello Phil and Ady - Thank you both, as always super service.

One other point what would be the reason his rank would
change from Riflemen to Private?
Please.

Best wishes

Hello - I am trying to discover when the above man.

No. 553951 of the 16th London entered a theatre of war
and when he was wounded and discharged.
The colour mic does not record this info.

Thank you for any help.

Best wishes

Hello Nell - Thank you very much.

I think we can now call this completed. Thank you. I now have to explain
to Minnies daughter that there is a skeleton in her closet.

Really very kind of you, thanks again.

Hello - Little Nell, I am sorry about my confusion. Thank you for the

explanation.

Is it possible to ask about the 1901?

I will now write out 1000 times. "I must make questions clearer."

Thank you very much.

Hello Jen - Sorry about this, I have been able to show Minnies mother in law the result
of your help. As we discussed it she noticed something I had missed
Minnie was born in 1890 !  ???

So she would have been eleven in 1901.

Is it possible to search again for Southsea and Portsmouth.

I feel very stupid.

Best wishes
