The Biographical Index of SA has William b 9 Sept 1846, parents William and Mary and arriving 1865 on the Lincoln. He married Sarah QUINTRELL 25 Dec 1873 at Yelta, SA. She was b 17 Jan 1853 Cornwall. Parents were John and Mary (nee TOY). Sarah came to SA with her parents on the General Hewett in 1858.

Thank you so much, Owen had recorded both William and Sarah as arriving on the General Hewitt so that has been cleared up.

I think you maybe on the right track, I am trying to trace the ancestors of Owen Butler Trewartha born 16/10/1921 in St. Peter's Adelaide South Australia. Owen died 29/01/1981, he was my partner at the time, now all these years later I am trying to compile some history. I do not know his parents names, but what you have found is the closest. I thank you for your research as I could not get anywhere.

Was he married when he immigrated?  I think her name was Sarah
