Hello Dermo,
I have my grandfathers medical records from 1919 when he was a patient at ' The Military SPECIAL SURGICAL Hospital, Blackrock' . It may be that the SS on the death certificate is an abreviation of this.

Hello all. I am in need of some help and guidance in the search for my Grandmothers family. Her name was Elizabeth Manders b 1865 d 1940. She was the daughter of Mary Manders (Nee Warner) who was the daughter of William Warner of Bantry. William owned creameries in Killarney, Enniskeane and Ballinacarrigathe and in partnership with his son-in-law James Manders (Mary's husband) he started a factory in about 1880 at William Street in Bantry for the processing of butter for the export market.
James and Mary had eight children that survived into adulthood. 2 boys and 6 girls. 3 of the girls never married. I have been unable to trace what happened to one, Lillian b1891. One was, I believe my Grandmother, Elizabeth. The last Margaret b1895 did marry and have two children a girl Margaret b1932 and a boy Gerald b 1928.  I have been unable to find what happened to them.
I am particularly interested in finding a living female relative who has descended from the same parents as Mary Warner down the female side. That can of course include any of the descendants of female siblings of Mary. Desperately hoping for your help. Whitemill

Hello Dukeslane and AlanAF.
Alan AF I was hoping for a response from Dukeslane Alan because I am his cousin and he seems to have done lots of research already. I don't doubt that on my journey I will bump into your Fenlon line. I shall post anything I find for your perusal. Whitemill

Hello Alan, I think I am your cousin and would very much appreciate if you could confirm this. It appears that we share a grandfather. My grandfather was Michael Fenlon. My mother was Mary Carty nee Fenlon known to all the family as Sis. My mother was sister to Michael Fenlon known to the family as Micky Dooley. They were the children of Michaels first marriage.
I have recently started researching my family tree and my intention is to get back to the Father of All the Fenlons and  try to find out what happened to his children. I found your postings here on RootsChat. It would appear that you have gathered a lot of information and I think your information could save me a lot of time . I look forward to hearing from you.
