First off thank you. Work and the death of my girlfriends grandfather kind of made me forgot i had posted this.

I have been able to go back probably 6 generations now. With the Pearce side of the family. Alot of Georges and it stops with Richard Preace born late 1600's early 1700s.

The estate of Ann Dorothy Pearce has closed. A cousin arranged it. After we all discovered Ann Dorothy did not died when people thought she did. But lived until 1996.

Anyone know if i am able to track down her records of when she was suppose to have been institutionised in the 40's?

John Williams siblings included Lily, Ada and Harry and Alice.

i think i went on a wrong tangent for Emily Freeman. As i had her parents as William Freeman and Sophia Smith. However my mum told me Emily Freeman had 9 siblings.

Apart from my grandmother Ann Dorothy.

I wanted to find out more about John William Pearce. He died in Tonbridge during the war. Yet he died in 1946.
I was told. I have a photo of him in a very basic "army" uniform. My mum told me he was a fireman during the war. And wonder if he may have been homeguard. As i cannot find any army records.

Also a huge thank you so far to you all.

I was hoping to possibly make some connections as i have hit a brickwall after using ancestry websites and the LDS family site.

My mother's name was June Pearce. Daughter of John William Pearce ( 1904-1946) he did in Tunbridge just after the war and his  Ann Dorothy Palmer ( 1907-1996)must have fell into depression as after attempting to kill my mother and her siblings was placed in an institution.
Thomas Pearce (1873-1945) and Emily Freeman (1871- not sure of her death date but was after 1945 and may have been into the 1950's)

I have used sites to go back at least 4 generations but i was hoping for some more information.
Any answers is helpful
