Thanks for trying!  I will try to see if I can change the scan settings and hopefully have a better one to work with.

Thanks, but I have already combed through the parish registers and have not found them.  They were probably born before the earliest register or not baptized.

Unwanted Certificates & Artefacts / Lyall family of Lanarkshire, Scotland
« on: Tuesday 06 September 16 17:53 BST (UK)  »
I have a few items that were passed down from my 2nd great aunt's husband.  One of which is a diary/travel log with photos of John Lyall's trip from Scotland to America between 1895-1930.  He made the voyage with several siblings.  He was the son of John Lyall (1842-1914) and Mary Brown.  If there is anyone from this Lyall family that would like these items, please let me know.

I would love to see if this photo can be restored.  It is my grandfather with his sons the day before my dad left for the Vietnam War.  Thanks!

Mayo / Devaney from Cuilmore/Swineford/Drumshinnagh
« on: Tuesday 06 September 16 16:57 BST (UK)  »
I am looking for the parents of my 3rd great grandparents.  Martin Devaney and Honor Devaney.
Martin Devaney was born about 1822.  Honor Devaney was born about 1828.
They were married February 12, 1850 in the parish of Kilconduff.
They were living in Drumshinnagh for a time and then moved to Cuilmore.
Martin died March 26, 1900.  Honor died October 16, 1888.
Any help will be appreciated.

Clare / Re: John O'Connor(or Connors) and unknown Quinlivan marriage

Hi cousin!  Anne/Nancy Connors and Patrick Sheahan are my 3rd great grandparents.
Another family researcher and I believe that Anne's parents are John O'Connor (Connors) and Hanoria Quinlivan.
The Sheehan's (or Sheahan) were from the townland of Tonlegee.
And we found Anne's family in a neighboring townland of Gortygeeheen.
Which of their children do you descend from??  I am descended from their son Thomas Patrick Sheehan (b.1866).
