I don't know where I got his d.o.b wrong, I descend from his son John Mason - and started the search a number of years ago when myself and family wondered why my grandmother had the middle name say.

Have just found papers on land at Wortwell , under Wortwell Land Dispute on internet being sold at auction Sept 2016!

It has been established that Joshua Say was the son of Richard Say and Margaret Cock .He was born in Pulham St. Mary- having seen other info here, does this point to him being descendent of Richard Say who inherited Say Farm house from his father Richard  and whose brother Robert inherited it in 1702 after Richard died. Need to find out if Joshua's father Richard was indeed related to them.

My gr gr gr grandfather John Mason born 1796 was the blacksmith at Wortwell where he married Mary Say who lived at Say farm.

I am a descendant of John Mason who married Mary Say and have visited Say farmhouse at Wortwell.There is a ancestry post if you look up Joshua Say Wortwell. Many people have been trying to find Joshua's parents for years.Post will explain
