I have struggled with this guy for a very long time, i feel it has more to offer and I am over thinking the hints. I am about to put my tree to a nice paper tree and would like fill this pair of women in. Anne and Elizabeth.

married elizabeth?
daughter Mary 1761
John died august 1771 august.

I know his father, also john married anne??? at all saints. loughborough.

this is him in my tree, I have his fathers details.

I have newbolds from sorrel in my tree, I don't live far from there either and if I recall there are a lot of them in the churchyard with headstones. Would you like me to visit and take pictures? Also a lot of the parish records often call the newbolds "newball".

The Register of christenings, marriages and burials in the Cathedral Church of Lichfield commencing September 1744.

John Dawkins' marriage entry is on page 12.

I managed to crack this, the field trip to Cadeby helped. Per chance a fellow from Canada called Bruce Alexander sent me a message who is a descendant too! The planets aligned and between us we managed to break to barrier and get back three more generations. It was Elizabeth Stubbs and it was well proven.

Once again, RC came through. Thank you all for your help.

Bruce and his wife are coming over in May to explore their roots. Looks like we might meet.

Well done guys, I had seen the litchfield marriage before and dismissed it, I made a mistake there. A lesson learnt! Thank you for this, its been a scratch that needed itching for a very long time.
